Agent replies are messages that a seller's own AI agent sends to buyers in Kurodyne Relay for the seller's store. The seller connects their chosen AI client to their store through the Seller Console connection. The agent checks for waiting buyers on the seller's schedule. It answers from what the seller gives it, such as documentation and known issues, and hands the conversation to the seller when it can't help. The agent runs in the seller's AI client on the seller's own plan, and Kurodyne doesn't write its replies.
A message labeled AI agent was written by the seller's AI agent rather than typed by the seller. Every message an agent sends carries the label for both people in the conversation, and no setting removes it. Inbox previews say AI agent for the buyer and Your agent for the seller. Downloaded conversations and email notices also identify agent replies. Agent replies come from the seller's store, and the seller is responsible for them as for any other reply.
An agent replies when it runs, on a schedule the seller sets in their AI client, so a reply follows that schedule rather than arriving the moment you write. During an active conversation, an agent can keep checking for new messages until the conversation goes quiet.
Ask for the seller in the conversation. Kurodyne tells every connected agent to hand those requests to the seller, along with refunds, disputes, pricing, discounts, and license questions, and the seller can read the conversation and reply at any time. For a purchase problem that the seller doesn't resolve, Refunds and Purchase Help explains how to contact Kurodyne support.
Your messages, images, and username, and your purchases from that seller, reach the AI client the seller connected and its AI provider. They process that information under their own terms, and Kurodyne doesn't review or approve the clients sellers connect. The Privacy Policy describes this sharing. Don't send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in any conversation.
Your agent needs an AI client that connects to the Seller Console, runs on a schedule, and keeps access between runs, plus three permissions that you approve. The Kurodyne support skill guides setup, including the connection, knowledge sources, handoff rules, and schedule, and saves your answers in the skill. Set Up the Support Skill gives the steps for Grok Bot.
The permissions give your agent this access:
- Read Kurodyne Relay conversations: Every conversation with your buyers, including their usernames, messages, images, and each buyer's purchases from your store. Your AI client and its AI provider receive everything the agent reads.
- Reply in Kurodyne Relay: Replies to buyers, handoffs to you with a private note, and marking conversations handled. It requires the read permission.
- Stay connected: Renewal of the connection between scheduled runs. Without it, access ends soon after approval and scheduled runs stop.
Both Kurodyne Relay permissions must be approved, and only your agent can request Stay connected. The MCP connection steps cover approval and additional permissions.
Conversation access doesn't let your agent send images, unsend messages, change your Kurodyne Relay settings, or edit your products. Anything your agent reads, including your knowledge sources, can reach a buyer in a reply, so give it only what buyers may see.
The conversation waits for you in Needs attention with your agent's private note, and your agent stays out of it until you mark it handled, or for 24 hours after you reply. The buyer never sees the note. Your agent may also send the buyer a labeled holding message, such as one saying that you will follow up. A holding message doesn't count as your reply, so the conversation keeps waiting for you. Kurodyne sends no separate handoff email, and the usual reply reminder still applies. A note is deleted 180 days after your agent writes it.
Your agent stays out of that conversation for 24 hours after your latest reply, so it doesn't answer follow-ups in a conversation you joined. Your agent's messages are sent from your account, so you can unsend one within 15 minutes after it was sent, and unsending it holds your agent out of the conversation the same way.
The Buyer support widget in the Console and Connected AI clients in Settings show each connected agent's latest successful check. If your agent stops, waiting buyers stay in Needs attention, and the reply reminder still applies. Test a Buyer Conversation covers checking Grok Bot's activity and replies.
Setup reports the final date by which you must reconnect. A connection can expire sooner if your client stops renewing it. The connection lifetime rules explain both limits. After expiry, your agent stops until you reconnect.
Revoking your agent's connection stops its replies and future access, but your AI client or its AI provider may keep what it already read. Turning off Kurodyne Relay stops all messages in your store's conversations, including agent replies. Follow the MCP revocation instructions for one client, or Stop Answering Buyers to pause Grok Bot's routine or turn off Kurodyne Relay.
