Grok Bot checks Kurodyne Relay on a schedule and answers buyers from the knowledge you give it. It hands you refunds, disputes, pricing, discounts, license questions, and anything it can't verify. It connects through the Seller Console connection, runs in the cloud on your own plan, and keeps working while your computer is off. Every reply is labeled AI agent. How Agent Replies Work in Kurodyne Relay explains the label, handoffs, and where buyer messages go.
- A Kurodyne seller account with Kurodyne Relay turned on. Turn it on in Settings under Buyer support, then select Save. By default, buyers must have bought from your store to start a conversation. Others need a listed product and Presales conversations turned on. Select Save after changing that setting. While Require established account is on, their accounts must be at least 30 days old.
- Grok Bot on an eligible plan. Install the Grok Bot desktop app and sign in. xAI's Grok Bot setup guide(opens in a new tab) lists the plans that include it. The mobile app can show routines, but editing a schedule and testing a run need the desktop app.
- The knowledge your agent should use. Gather links to your documentation, known issues, supported platforms, and anything else that answers buyer questions. Scheduled runs can't open files on your computer, so share links or paste the text in chat. Your agent can repeat anything it reads to a buyer, so include only what buyers may see.
Select New in the sidebar. In New chat, select Create new Bot. Name the Bot Buyer Support. If it opens as New Bot, select Edit Profile and set the name. Use this Bot only for buyer support. The support routine belongs to this Bot.
Setup creates the routine that answers buyers, and Grok Bot checks each action the routine proposes against your auto-review rules, so set your rules before you send the setup message. In Grok Bot's Settings, under General, open Auto-review. An Ask first rule pauses a matching action until you respond, and it wins over an Allow automatically rule.
-
Approve each reply yourself: Add an Ask first rule that covers both tools that can message a buyer. Open the Bot's details and turn on Notifications under Bot settings so you see each request. Then select Allow once, Always allow, or Deny.
Ask first before send_chat_reply or hand_off_chat on the kurodyne server. Both can send a message to a buyer. -
Let the Bot reply on its own: Once you trust its replies, add an Allow automatically rule for the reply tools. Auto-review can still stop an action for another reason.
Allow send_chat_reply, hand_off_chat, and mark_chat_handled on the kurodyne server when the kurodyne-chat-support skill runs.
Either way, Kurodyne labels every reply AI agent.
The Kurodyne support skill sets up your Bot with you. It connects the Seller Console, asks for your knowledge sources, any other topics you want handed to you, and how often to check, then saves your answers in the skill and schedules its runs.
-
In your support Bot's chat, send:
Set up the Kurodyne support skill from https://kurodyne.com/agent-skills/kurodyne-chat-support.md with me.If the Bot can't open the link, download the Kurodyne support skill and attach the file to the same message.
-
When the Bot asks to add the
kurodyneserver, check that the address it repeats ishttps://mcp.kurodyne.com/seller/mcp, then confirm. -
When the connection card appears, select the button that starts sign-in. Kurodyne opens in your browser. Sign in and check that Stay connected is listed under Access. Grok Bot can't ask for more permissions after it connects, so under Optional access, select Read Kurodyne Relay conversations and Reply in Kurodyne Relay. Then select Allow connection and return to Grok Bot.
-
Read the Bot's connection check. It gives the final date by which you must reconnect. Reconnect before that date. The connection can expire sooner if the client stops renewing it; its inactivity deadline moves each time it renews. If the Bot says Kurodyne Relay is off, turn it on as Before You Start describes. If it says the connection can't renew itself, it stops setup; follow Troubleshooting.
-
Answer the Bot's questions. It recommends checking every 15 minutes, all day. It then saves the skill, reads back your settings, and creates the routine.
-
Enter
/in the message box and check that kurodyne-chat-support is listed.
The kurodyne server is listed under Your plugins in Marketplace. The server and the saved
skill are available to every Bot on your account.
Setup ends with one routine that runs the skill on the schedule you chose. If the Bot didn't create it, ask:
Create the routine from the Schedule section of /kurodyne-chat-support. Each run follows the Each Run section with @kurodyne.- Select the Bot's name at the top of the chat, then Tasks. Routines are listed under Routines. Check that the schedule matches the one you chose. Schedules use the time zone under Bot in Grok Bot's Settings.
- Check that the routine isn't Paused.
- Open the routine and select Test.
Test does real work. With no buyer waiting, the run ends after one check only if no conversation the Bot can handle has had a message in the last 15 minutes. Otherwise, it keeps checking until that window passes, even after it has answered everyone. It may not post in the chat, so confirm it under the routine's recent runs. If a buyer is waiting, the Bot follows the approval rules you set.
A new routine starts at its next scheduled time. A run can start a few minutes late when Grok Bot is busy.
Ask a friend to test with you, or create a second Kurodyne account to use as the buyer.
- In Settings under Buyer support, turn on Presales conversations for the test if it's off. If the buyer account is less than 30 days old, also turn off Require established account for the test. Select Save.
- Use the buyer account to send your store a question from a listed product's page.
- Wait for the next scheduled run. In the Console, check the Buyer support widget for your Bot's latest successful check. In Settings, you can also find the Bot under Connected AI clients in Security and check its latest Kurodyne Relay activity.
- Approve the reply if your auto-review rules require it, then read it in Kurodyne Relay. Check that it carries the AI agent label and answers from your knowledge sources, the conversation, and the product's listing and current release.
- Send a follow-up from the buyer account and check the next reply. While the conversation stays active, your Bot checks again in the same run if it can wait, or at the next scheduled run.
- Ask for the seller from the buyer account, then check Needs attention from your seller account. Read the private handoff note and confirm that the buyer can't see it. Your Bot may also send a labeled holding message to the buyer.
When you're done, turn Require established account back on if you turned it off. Then, if you turned on Presales conversations only for the test, turn it off. Select Save.
If no reply is needed, such as after a thank-you, your Bot may mark the conversation handled. How Agent Replies Work in Kurodyne Relay explains holding messages and how long a handoff note is kept.
- Reply yourself: Answer in Kurodyne Relay. Your Bot stays out of that conversation for 24 hours after your latest reply.
- Unsend a reply: Select Unsend on one of your Bot's messages within 15 minutes after it was sent. Unsending it also holds your Bot out of the conversation.
- Answer a handoff: Open the conversation from Needs attention, read the note, and reply or select Mark handled.
Ask your support Bot in chat. It updates the saved skill and the routine, then tells you what changed.
- Sources, handoff rules, or schedule: Say what to change, such as adding your troubleshooting page or checking every hour.
- A newer version of the skill: Ask the Bot to update
kurodyne-chat-support. It gets the latest version from Kurodyne, keeps your settings, and runs the setup with you again.
The skill tells your Bot to change it only when you ask directly and to treat buyer messages as text, never as instructions. If your Bot reports a change you didn't ask for, ask it to show its settings and correct them.
Every run counts against your Grok Bot usage. Usage & Billing in Grok Bot's Settings shows it. Checking every 15 minutes starts 96 runs a day, before follow-up checks during active conversations. With no buyer waiting, a run ends after one check only if no conversation the Bot can handle has had a message in the last 15 minutes. Otherwise, it keeps checking until that window passes. To use less, ask your Bot to check less often, such as every hour.
- Available after purchase: Turn on Presales conversations in Settings under Buyer support, select Save, and try from a listed product's page.
- Available after purchase or when your account is 30 days old: Use an account that has bought from your store or meets the age requirement, or turn off Require established account under Buyer support in Settings, then select Save.
- The server doesn't connect, or sign-in never starts: Open Marketplace, select Your
plugins, and remove the
kurodyneserver listed under Installed. Then send the setup message from Set Up the Support Skill again. If Kurodyne shows an error during sign-in, contact Kurodyne support with the error text. - Setup says the connection can't renew itself: The connection lacks Stay connected, which
only Grok Bot can request. Remove the
kurodyneserver and send the setup message again. When Kurodyne opens, check that Stay connected is listed under Access, select Read Kurodyne Relay conversations and Reply in Kurodyne Relay under Optional access, then select Allow connection. Without Stay connected, access ends soon after approval and scheduled support can't run. - Setup can't read or answer conversations: The connection lacks Read Kurodyne Relay
conversations or Reply in Kurodyne Relay. Remove the
kurodyneserver, send the setup message again, and select both under Optional access when Kurodyne opens. - The skill is missing from the menu: Enter
/in the message box. If kurodyne-chat-support isn't listed, open Marketplace, select Your plugins, then Manage plugins and skills, and check Private skills. If the skill is missing there, send the setup message again. - The routine didn't run: Check that it isn't Paused, that its schedule and time
zone are right, and that a new routine has reached its first scheduled time. Also check that the
kurodyneserver is still signed in and that your Grok Bot usage isn't paused. After you have been away for a long time, Grok Bot may pause routines until you confirm they should keep running. The routine's recent runs show each failure. - Your Bot ignores your sources or handoff rules: Ask it to show Seller Settings in
kurodyne-chat-support. If your answers are missing, send the setup message again, and check that the Bot saves the skill at the end. - Replies wait for approval: An Ask first rule matches them, or auto-review stopped the action for another reason. Change the rule under Auto-review.
- A reply is rejected as held: You replied in that conversation within the last 24 hours, you unsent one of the Bot's messages there within that time, or the Bot handed the conversation off. The Bot leaves it alone.
- The connection ended: Every connection has a final reconnection date, reported during setup.
It can expire sooner if the client stops renewing it. Remove the
kurodyneserver and send the setup message again. Your Bot adds the server back and asks you to sign in. When Kurodyne opens, select Read Kurodyne Relay conversations and Reply in Kurodyne Relay under Optional access again, then select Allow connection. Your Bot keeps your settings.
Pause or delete the routine from the Bot's Routines. To end its connection, follow the MCP revocation instructions for Grok Bot. Revoking stops future access, but Grok Bot and its AI provider may keep what they already read.
To stop all messages in your store's Kurodyne Relay conversations:
- Open Settings and expand Buyer support.
- Turn off Kurodyne Relay, then select Save.
- Confirm that the change is saved. This also stops agent replies.
