A ZIP file combines multiple files into one compressed file. Compression stores repeated patterns in your data efficiently, which can reduce the total size depending on the files. One ZIP file is easier to share than many separate files.

Choose or drop files, or drop a folder into the drop area. Your files appear in the Files list. Give your archive a name and select Download. The ZIP file saves directly to your device.

Yes. A dropped folder becomes a folder inside the ZIP file, and its files stay in their subfolders. To put its contents at the ZIP file’s top level, open the folder and select and drop the files and folders inside it. Do this for a Kurodyne product package so its README stays at the top level. Files with unsupported names or folder paths are skipped.

Selected files have no combined size limit, but each file and the finished ZIP archive can be up to 4 GB for compatibility. Available browser memory may set a lower practical limit. A ZIP archive for a Kurodyne product package can be up to 250 MB unless Kurodyne support has raised your store’s limit.

It depends on the files. Plain text, code, and uncompressed data files can shrink substantially. Office documents (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX), most PDFs, EPUBs, images, and videos usually shrink little because they’re already compressed. Packager uses maximum ZIP compression, but the archive can even be larger than the original files.

Product files on Kurodyne are delivered as a single ZIP file. This keeps all files together and allows buyers to check that a downloaded file matches the package record with the File Verifier. Compression can also shrink text and code files, though already-compressed files barely change.
