Crop JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and BMP images to 16:9, 4:3, or 1:1 and limit their output width.
Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and BMP. Output: PNG and JPG, plus WebP in browsers that can encode it. Animated GIFs keep the first frame only. Kurodyne product images accept PNG and JPG.
PNG for screenshots, graphics, text, and logos where sharp edges matter. JPG for photographs where smaller file size outweighs minor compression artifacts. For Kurodyne product images (often screenshots or graphics), upload PNG. Our servers optimize delivery automatically.
PNG export saves the edited image without lossy compression. JPG and WebP compression can reduce image quality. For Kurodyne product images, upload the highest-quality PNG you have. Catalog delivery compresses images at quality 80 for faster loading.
Images are limited to 10 MB per file. Inputs wider than 7,000 pixels or taller than 7,000 pixels are rejected for browser safety. Images with more than 16,777,216 pixels are downscaled to that limit before editing.
Kurodyne recommends 1,920 by 1,080 pixels, which matches the 16:9 ratio the Product Editor recommends. Kurodyne fits the image for the Catalog and requires that fitted result to be at least 400 by 225 pixels.
Yes. No watermarks, no signup, and no limit on how many images you can edit. Images must stay within the safe pixel limits.
All metadata is removed on export. This includes GPS location, camera model, lens settings, timestamps, and software information, so the exported file no longer carries the location your camera recorded. Kurodyne also strips metadata from images uploaded to the Product Editor.
Your images never leave your device. The tool uses your browser’s built-in image processing, so there is nothing to install and no account required. When you close the tab, your images are gone from memory.
